Brandie M. Hawkins, 26, of Glendale, Arizona, died November 1, 2010, at Banner Thunderbird Medical Center surrounded by her family. She was born December 28, 1983, in Phoenix, Arizona, the daughter of Tommy and Janice Hawkins. She was their only child. She was enrolled at Northern Arizona University. Brandie completed her Associates Degree at Glendale Community College. She enjoyed traveling with her family each year to new and exciting locations. She had a smile that was infectious. Her friends remember her for her outgoing personality, humor, and giving spirit. She was always the life of the party and loved life to the fullest. She will be remembered by her family for her fun loving, carefree, and sweet personality. She is survived by her son Tommy "Kaden" Hawkins; father and mother, Tommy and Janice Hawkins; aunts and uncles Larry and Venetta Clark and Charles and Barbara Peten; cousin (sister), Shinie Haynes and her husband Marquis; nieces Brie Harriel and Hailey Haynes; aunt Juda Walker; cousin Alicia Hawkins-Smith; cousin Ursa Hawkins, cousin Katie Hames; and her sons father Ashley Samuel. Brandie was preceded in death by her grandmother, Dorothy Mitchell; grandmother Essie Mae Hawkins; and grandfather, Robert Jackson. A Celebration of Brandie's Life will be celebrated on Friday, November 12, 2010 at 6 pm at Heritage Funeral Chapel 6830 W Thunderbird Rd., Peoria, AZ 85381.
