Martin Garcia Gomez Jr. was known for his laughter and love of music and dance. To his friends and family he was known as "Tuna." Martin's journey through life came to an end on October 31, 2014 after his courageous battle with cancer. There wasn't a room that he entered that his presence didn't light up, he had kind words for all who knew him and a joke for every occasion. To the end he requested Oldies playing and laughter and life all around. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him and he will not be forgotten. His heart radiated with love for all his family and friends.

Martin was proceeded in death by his Mother Celia Garcia Gomez, Brother: Javier "Gabby" Gomez, Sisters: Mary Gomez and Sylvia Gomez Amador.
He is survived, loved and remembered by his Children: Dabie Ojeda, Martin Gomez III, Angel Gomez, Amanda Ayala and Chelsea Gomez, Daughter and Son-In-Laws, 6 Grand Daughters and 5 Grand Sons.

He is also survived by his Father Martin Gomez Sr., Brothers: Elias "Alex" Gomez, Jose & Maria Gomez, Richard & Lucy Gomez. Sisters: Esther & Jorge Amador, Connie & Pablo Amador, Rosie & Tito Rivera-Gomez, Nellie Gomez.

Martin "Tuna" will be laid to rest next to his brother who ironically passed the same day 19 years before, as follows:
The Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday November 14, 2014 at Sunwest Heritage Funeral Home 12525 NW Grand Ave, El Mirage, AZ 85335

The Service will be held 10:00 a.m. at the Apostolic Faith Center, 12200 N 111th Ave, Youngtown, AZ 85363 with an escort to the graveside shortly after where he will find his final resting place.
