Marlene Ann Siemer was born March 5, 1964, in Gardena, California. She was baptized at the St. Francis Cabrini Roman Catholic Church in Los Angeles, California. Mo passed away at her home in Surprise, Arizona, on March 9, 2015.
Mo graduated from Saddleback High School in Santa Ana, California in 1981. She also attended Coastline Community College in Fountain Valley, California where she studied Interior Design. She then went on to have her own successful Interior Design business in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Her first marriage was to Frank Raymond Chin on November 4, 1989, and they had one son, Robert Sebastian Valdes Chin.
Mo and Steve met each other in Laughlin, Nevada in 2008, and she then moved to Mesa, Arizona with Steve. They were married May 20, 2010 at the Hollywood Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas, Nevada. Later they moved from Mesa to Surprise, Arizona.
Mo was a very accomplished interior designer. Steve and Mo shared a passion for cooking—it was always a competition between them as to who was the better cook. Many of the meals they shared with family and friends were always a collaboration of Steve's "grill" expertise and Mo's creative side dishes. Mo's dream was to attend the Scottsdale Culinary Institute in Arizona.
Marlene is survived by her husband Steven Scott Siemer, her son Robert Sebastian Valdes Chin (Las Vegas), her brother James Michael Holts and her mother Violette Holts (both from Augusta, Maine). She was preceded in death by her father Michael Sterling Holts
