Manuel Contreras was born February 10, 1986 in Flint Michigan to Ms. Donna Roberson-Wells and Manuel Contreras Sr. He was raised in Michigan by Mr. and Mrs. John (Donna) Wells. He was the oldest of three siblings. He attended Eureka Dale Elementary, Brake Middle School, John Glen High School and completed his education in Arizona. He furthered his education by attending Brookline College and received his Associates degree in Dentistry. He entered into his extern which was to be completed May 17, 2013.
Manuel met the love of his life Brianne L. (Kirkland) Contreras at the studio in Arizona March 29, 2006. Although they were introduced to Christ at an early age, they committed themselves to Christ together in 2007 and saw this was a love created by God and were united in holy matrimony on June 7, 2008 at Sunrise Baptist Church of Arizona under the leadership of Pastor Andre Mooney. Through this union were three special gifts from God: Isaac Emmanuelle Contreras 3, I'Yah LaShelle Contreras 18 months, and Iden Elias Contreras 5 month.

Manuel Contreras Jr. was a God-fearing, loving husband and father who would share the love of Christ with anyone, anywhere. Manuel cherished his wife and three children. He always talked about how much of a God given gift his family was and how much God has blessed him. He leaves to celebrate his life: His wife Brianne Lauren Contreras, his children Isaac Emmanuelle Contreras, I'Yah LaShelle Contreras, Iden Elias Contreras, his mother Mrs. Donna Roberson-Wells, his stepfather Mr. John Wells, his father Mr. Manuel Contreras Sr., one sister Esterra Contreras, one step brother Joseph Briggs, grandparents Mr. Jessie Fleming, Ms. Ella Roberson, Ms. Edwina Dean, Mr. and Mrs. John and Mary Wells, mother in Law Ms. Elaine M. Kirkland, father in Law Mr. Lawrence A. Kirkland, sister in Laws Brandie(Lamont) L. Cheeks, Blaire L. Kirkland, Brittanie L. Kirkland and a host of loving family members and friends.
