Ismael was an amazing husband, dad, son, brother, cousin and friend. He always went above and beyond for all of us.
Ismael was the love of my life. He always went out of his way to put a smile on my face. He hid special notes in my car, lunchbox and on the mirror of the bathroom. He kissed me good-bye in the mornings and always supported everything that I did. I feel so lost without him but I know he will always be with me. I know he would have stayed if he could. He gave me 17 beautiful years full of happiness and gave me two beautiful baby girls. I will be eternally grateful for having been part of his life.
Our girls were the most important people in Ismael's life. He adored both of them. Madison always jokes, "Mom, Dad loves you, but he loves me more." That's true. He would have done anything for either of them. He was a special kind of Dad. He tucked our girls in at night. He helped with bath time and story time. He spent his last day here on Earth helping Maddie sell Girl Scout Cookies because he always supported her too. Rylee's favorite spot to cuddle is in Daddy's arms. He was the perfect father and I will do everything I can to make sure our girls know that.
He was adored by everyone who knew him, especially his family. He was a warm, loving peace maker who always had a smile on his face. When he entered the room it lit up. He was beautiful and loving to everyone. They were blessed to have him as a son and a brother. He was a hero to his big sister, a best friend to his younger sister. He was the smile on his father's face and the beat of his mother's heart. He was their only brother, their only son and he will forever be missed.
As for work, he worked in for the City of Phoenix Water Department. He has been there for 10 years and was always very proud. He started in distribution and worked his way to being a Heavy Duty Pump Mechanic at the North yard. He loved his work and was very prideful of it. From the clothes he wore to the organized tool box he kept, he always wanted everything to be professional.
Ismael was just all around great man. Everyone that knew him loved him. He will be missed by many, but never forgotten.
